The unit works great, but the window bracket was flimsy and not that good for a vertical slider window, plus, I had to buy after-market bracket for sliding door but it was difficult to know what to get (it also works for window, fortunately). Would be best if Frigidaire offered an optional bracket kit for sliding door (that also works for sliding window), so you wouldn't need to research/figure out which one to get.

This portable a/c worked great in my bedroom - a little over 200 sq ft. It was a very hot summer and this unit kept my room cool. During the afternoons I would turn it on and keep the door open and it would help regulate the downstairs temp with the additional unit I had in the living room. A good find for sure.

I purchased this portable A/C unit to cool my dining room/kitchen area, and I am impressed with its performance. The unit is quiet relative to the other portable A/C unit I have, and it does a great job at cooling the area. I never needed to drain water from the unit despite many high-humidity days. I highly recommend this product.

Our central air just recently went on us right in late August. We already had 1 unit, but we have a pretty big house, so we needed another. We actually bought 2 of these units and they have been doing a great job keeping our entire house cool during this Indian Summer that the East Coast is deciding to have right now!

I'm pleased with how this A/C works. I bought it to supplement our central A/C system in a 3 bedroom apartment. I have my desk and PC setup in a sunroom that would be hot in the afternoons because of the windows. This keeps my little area cool. I just wish the air blew out from the side instead of the top, so I could blow it directly at me. The swing function is good though, and helps!!

We live in Western NY state so humidity is an issue. Using the dehumidifier function lowers humidity and temperature both, so there™™s energy savings. Quieter would be better, but this unit works well for our 1000 square foot apartment.

Did you know portable air conditioners and window air conditioners are wayyyy different in BTUs? I didn't. Surprise!!! I spent all this money because my new house has windows I can't put a window AC in so I bought this one seeing the BTU measurement was the same. This gigantic, loud, overpriced piece of GARBAGE doesn't even keep ONE ROOM cold!!!

The AC works well when the weather is not too hot. It keeps my home about 6 degrees cooler than the outside. So, if it's 90 outside, it's 84 inside. Not a big difference, but enough that I am glad we have it. Another issue is that air does not come out straight, but to the left, which makes it a bit difficult to position.

I'm going to get right to it..™ it's very quiet especially the fan on low.™ It can easily flow with the background. ™ it looks and feels to be quality materials used to construct it.™ easy on the power bill.™ EASY TO MAINTAIN.™ my bedroom is 275sqfft and from 80° within 15-20 minutes it's at the temperature (reasonable temp) programmed.™ plenty of useful features™ easy to set and also easy to understand how to set it.™ (GUYS) if your atleast average height it's the perfect height to gently yet quickly cool those toasty Pecans from overheating keeping your unborn safe!

When this was working it was great for our small room, but now that it's a timely 4 months out of warranty, it decided to die.There was a very noticeable dripping sound two nights ago. We're in the valley so the climate is pretty dry. I turned off the unit and checked to see if there was anything to drain, but there was nothing. I have to assume it was refrigerant like another reviewer here mentioned.Not sure how safe it is to be using this thing at this point. I called the Frigidaire number and the nearest repair place is an hour away.. and the second nearest is in Texas.Hoping Amex can help with this as needing refrigerant after a year seems like a waste of money and effort, unfortunately.

Our new portable air conditioner has been great It cools our bedroom quickly and is pretty quiet The remote is also great and works well. My only wish is the the window kit came in more sizes ™"hence only 4 Stars™"The minimum opening is about 1/10 inch too wide for our window We we™™re able to wedge it in and use the provided foam to seal so not a deal breaker by any means I know we can cut the plastic window kit pieces for a custom fit but doubt we will Overall we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend to others

I am happy with this portable AC. I use it as a supplementary unit to my centralized AC unit. The air seems to get lighter when it's turned on. The best part is the self evaporate function. I do not have to plug in the drain tube as there is no water coming out from the machine. Noise level is medium to low. I would prefer to turn it off when I have a Zoom meeting. But it worked fine either way. All in all, a good purchase.

I brought this air conditioner for my home office, it cools quickly and quietly which is a must for zoom calls. The only problem I™™ve had is the attachment coil tube it didn™™t stay attached to either side of the connector. I was able to put back but it really should be glued or something

This a/c unit suits well for an apartment that will not support a window unit type. East to set up, and portable to move around. The vent is operated mechanically; opens when on, closes when it's shut off. And the remote makes it a true cool breeze and the control of your finger tips!

We purchased this unit in the midst of a heat wave to replace a unit ( not Frigidaire ) that stopped working. Because this unit has double the BTU™™s of the old one we decided to put it on the first floor to cover the dinning room & living rooms, it does a great job keeping the rooms cool and comfortable. It has a great temperature range and it shuts down when the temp is reached on the thermostat, not to mention super quiet so it doesn™™t interrupt during shows and family visits. Installation was a breeze especially since this is not the first portable unit we have purchased, directions are clear and registering on line was a snap.

Bought this as an additional AC fir our guest room We have 2 other units and it does seem to keep is pretty cool with all 3 going when™™s it™™s in the 90™™s the house stays cool. If you just want to keep that room cool it™™s more than sufficient and it™™s pretty quiet and easy to use

We needed this to cool our puppies. We raise English Springer Spaniels and when we move them from the welping crate to the kennel in the garage we needed a portable means to cool the room. Nothing but the best for our babies. This works really well.

I purchased this Air Conditioner a few weeks ago. Happy to see how strong it is ! Still trying to figure what the best settings are for my location and needs. The weather has done so many seesaws it may take awhile longer. Love that it is on wheels and so easy to move.

I am working from home due to covid and my wife suggested that my office be in the detached garage. Due to the configuration of the garage a window unit was not practical so I got this one. It has kept the garage comfortable in this 95+ heat we have been having in Virginia, I am pleased with the unit's performance.

I bought this for my basement after my old window unit (not Frigidaire) died. I love that I can easily move it when not in use.My only wish was that the vent tube was longer ( I have an old house with higher basement windows).This machine cools down and helps dehumidify easily and quickly. I give it 3 stars for installation difficulty. 5 stars for how quickly it arrived when my home was 97 degrees inside! I like the air conditioner although the oval vent connector from the ventilation tube to the window broke. It is somewhat difficult to get it attached to the slider that covers the window opening and the tabs broke off. Calling service is impossible as they are so overwhelmed with calls you can't get through. I would like to replace this part and I will be happy. I don't want to pay an additional $50 for the replacement part. There is no email or chat to service.

I have this in my living room and it does a good job of cooling off even as far as the connecting dining room. Really like the look of this unit. It's not an eye sore like many others. Not a fan of the window mounting materials. I feel like this could be designed so much better...this goes for any portable AC really.

Bought two units, both worked first year, but now will not cool. Filters cleaned, etc. but these units die or leak out refrigerant after 1 year of use. Warning: Do not buy this piece of junk. Only one year warranty, so you are screwed after one year and have a non working AC unit on your hands.

This unit was my 4th similar purchase over several years. The first 2 worked as expected but the third was horrible, too loud, too slow to cool. Thre Frigidaire has worked BETTER than my wildest dreams. It is installed in a rather open area next to where I sit to watch tv. Not only does it cool both areas easily it also is so quiet I have missed turning it off at night. We can carry-on a conversation easily sitting only a few feet again. If I had known about this unit when I bought the first one I would now have 4.

The unit I bought is tilted slightly to one side and then the cooling fins is damaged at one spot about 4 inches from the lower left corner. Although the unit is still functional, it does leave a bad taste in my mouth. Poor workmanship.
