Worked good for 2 month, the some chemical smell start to come out. whole room was stinking. Took back to PC Richard. They exchanged ride away for a new one. Installed, new one started to smell in 5 minutes. Same terrible chemical smell. Product should be recalled. Unhealthy

It's a great AC for a small space, but we most like how quickly it aired out. My wife suffers from MCS and most new appliances take weeks or months to gas out electric and motor smells. This one aired out in a couple of hours! We have actually bought two of them with the same result.

We have a large bedroom with open walk in closet and our bathroom is also in the suite. We have had issues with cooling the space before, but this AC is amazing. Cools the entire space wonderfully. Also, it is super quiet and that™™s a bonus!

We purchased this a/c unit to replace a new one we had just purchased (and returned) that did not cool our room. I can honestly say this was the best purchase ever. Our room is like an ice box and we have actually had to set it higher or freeze. It was quiet at first, but now the fan "chatters", especially on lower speeds, but it's not so bad I can't live with it. It cools the room in no time and does not continually run once the set temp is reached. We love it and would buy it again when needed.

My AC unit worked ok for the 1st year and then, boom, iced up. Got that solved, I think, but then would no longer cool the room to the same degree. Room temperature is staying 80-83 in the Georgia heat and I am 79 and I feel it. We were sent a notice that we had to renew our warranty by Aug. 3 to have our warranty extended by 5 years. We did that, but when we call Frigidaire, we are told the warranty will not kick in for 2 months, even though we met the deadline. I called and called and tried to chat and even that I didn't get a reply on; spent a couple of hours on the phone only to get nowhere. I will not be a repeat customer of Frigidaire. This is most maddening. The appliance, the online support, what seems like dishonesty--no way I will return to this company. And they say they take these reviews seriously! Ha. We'll see what that means.

This is the only brand I go to, can't beat the reliability, comfort, sound level-very low, cost very reasonable, and it has very stylish looks. I have owned several of these through the years. No problems whatsoever. Never broke down, I just like to update due to upgrades for usage cost, economics is always important to me. You cannot go wrong with this brand.

I am still working out the instructions for usage but it would be so much easier if I could actually read the instrument panel. The "you will see" illustrations in the user manual all look the same until you see the "little" dots. The writing on the instrument panel is way too small for anyone to read. When you use the remote you still have to look at the AC instrument panel to see the "Mode" "Fan speed" etc.

I am enjoying my room air conditioner by frigidaire. It is not noisy and the remote is easy to understand and use. I can use my air conditioner manually as well. I have use this brand for some years and I am a true customer for frigidaire. Thank you for such a easy,safe and remarkable brand.

Appreciate the cooling but noise is louder than expected. Also Not energy star so expecting higher electricity bills. Should come with better filter included without need to purchase on my own.

Got a lemon! Purchased this unit at the end of August 2022. Stored new in the box for the 2023 Summer season. Performed "okay". It served us well last year. Weather was not too bad. Operating hours were low. At the end of '23 it was stored in the closet, right side up. Now in July 2024, we installed it for the hot weather. Figuring things would just work and keep us cool. I changed the batteries in the remote. Followed the directions, compressor started, fan did not turn. Compressor laboring, shut off the unit. Waited, went through the protocol to start it up. Followed the instructions. Unit labored and an electrical part was starting to overheat of an electrical smell. Shut it down, unplugged unit.I realize it's out of warranty. The unit is practically "new" condition. No luck with the national retailer or with Frigidaire's customer service. No resolve or solution for this appliance issue.$300.00 piece of junk. My loyalty to Frigidaire products is over.

It's been 90+ degrees every day for the past week and this ac has kept out bedroom and hallway nice and cold. Even with it running on eco mode all day. So much better than our old ac. Reasonably priced. Easy to install, was not too heavy.

I'm not sure if I got a defective one, considering all the great reviews, but I'm pretty disappointed in this a/c. It's extremely loud, we can't have it on while watching anything because it drowns out the tv. It's also not very effective - even set all the way down at 60 degrees, the air blowing out is cool but not cold and the room barely cools down.

The unit should have come with a drain fitting connector so you could direct the dripping from the condensate to a proper location. Other than that, I'm very happy with the unit and its performance.

The unit works as hoped so far. We had older models for quite some time and it™™s great to be able to take advantage of newer features without the stuff that makes me wary, such as WiFi. Remote control is wonderful as is the separate filter. Pleased so far.

I'm happy with how quickly it cools the room. I'm also satisfied with the adjustability of the airflow. Usually most window units tend to favor one side over the other but this one seems to adjust either side equally. I especially like the sleep mode. I paid $299 for this unit and I feel like I got a very good deal. I would not hesitate to recommend this AC.
