All of a sudden it started saying Food. I had to open the door and push on the tray to get it allow me to use it.
Beyond that there are no quick minute settings. Ive had many microwaves and they all did. This one was just annoying in every possible way.

Great oven easy to clean and power output is great. It is so quiet when it runs. The inverter technology really makes a difference too. But the interior is dimly lit. Maybe another row of LEDs would help. Also the front panel is so dark difficult to see the keypad unless all the kitchen lights are full on. Also the tones are just too quiet. If youre in another room waiting for your leftovers to heat up you will likely not hear it finish. And finely the open door button seems like its not robust. I bought this to replace my LG LRM-2060 which has served us well over the past 17 years.

This microwave barely lasted one year - would not heat food and was making an arcing sound. This was 9 days out of warranty the cost of repair more than replacement. LG said tough luck. The child lock button is in a very inconvenient place especially when using a trim kit of some sort. Other than that was initially very pleased with the look and performance of the unit but for it to fail so quickly is not acceptable.

Was hoping this microwave would be the one Id never want to replace or need to for a long period of time. Bought this 6 years ago and within 3 years the digits started to stop lighting up so the numbers are hard to read when its on. Tried the unplug and plug in to reset and nothing it is obviously the keypad/motherboard. It says 10 year warranty right on the door but apparently that means nothing. I will now be looking at purchasing another brand and hoping for the best

This is our third lg 2.0 countertop microwave and on every one the door latch has broken. We have the trim kit and have been locked in to using this size and model. The third oven now has a non working door latch. There is no repair only replace.

Power started dropping off longer heat time then it started arcing and making a loud noise but metal utensils or containers other than foil were NOT used.
There was a discoloration and accumulation over the panel inside tried to gentl wipe it and the surface crumble. Trying to upload photo.
I did like the pleasant alert sounds it made.

Started having reduced power then started arcing and making loud noise.
No metal utensils or containers or foil was used.
Stain/ accumulation on the side when I wiped it gently the surface crumbled.
Still waiting for LG to complete service.
Hard to understand reps.
Household use only.

I have had bought two of these microwaves - I like the size and dark interior. I had the first one for 2 years and it stopped heating. I thought it was just a fluke so bought another one just like it. I have now had this one less than three years and it has stopped heating. This is just ridiculous - prior to buying my first one I had had our old microwave for probably 10 years. These are just poorly made and I will not buy another LG microwave

I bought this in 2019. It was perfect until 2 months ago when part of the display numbers disappeared. Next the door release fell off when I pushed it to open the door. A little black piece and a spring flew out. This morning I go to heat up breakfast by holding onto the latch and pushing it in to open the door. I press the 30 sec button 2x. It started like normal then I hear clicking noises coming from the side unheard of before. I let it run its course to pull out food just as cold as when I put it in. I tried 2 more times

This is a beautiful microwave with large capacity. It heats well and has some pretty good smart features. My only complaint is that it is deeper than our prior one and it doesnt fit perfectly within the space. I would like to purchase the trim that goes around so it looks better.

wow this Microwave has 2.0CU ft. Capacity which is larger than others to cook or heat larger foods
I like the outside of design that has sleek style and its black
also LED light is brighter than expected while its cooking inside and easy to see making sure foods not overcooked. please note that this thing has child door lock which i liked and you should too if you have kids. It has all functions of cook like others but hey its LG and you get what you pay for.

I am pleased with this microwave as it replaced a smaller microwave from another big name brand. The microwave is quiet when in use and the 2-step secure door lock is something I do appreciate. The functionality and convenience is what I would expect from a reputable company. This particular size is great for large plates but if counter space is an issue LG offers smaller countertop options.

This microwave works very well heating up food very quickly and evenly. While the microwave design is nice it is quite large. This could be useful if you want to use it with larger plates or multiple plates. The down side of this is that it does take up a large amount of counterspace.

That said Ive always had smaller microwave ovens Ive learned as this one is certainly wider and taller than my current one it is replacing. Heats up fast easy to learn and love the child lock function. Used it on all sort of items and the one thing I find it is great on is defrosting frozen food especially ground beef. Gets it ready for stirfry without cooking half of it first. Shouldve had this function years ago. Also great on frozen Jamaican beef patties - hot but not over done crusts if you know what I mean.

I was happy with how this microwave worked unfortunately it lasted only one year. It claims to have a 10-year microtron warranty but the repair shop said it costs more to replace it than the microwave is worth. Only the parts free not the labor which I was told was not worth fixing the microwave. Very disappointing.

We purchased this microwave 7 weeks ago. Once its busy cooking its great. But it is not easy to use. The controls are simply not intuitive. Im still going back to my beleaguered instruction manual to learn how to do this or that all things Ive done easily before in other microwaves. My other problem concerns the controls. The clock is bright and easy to read. The controls are dim difficult to read.. I find myself getting up close to see them well.

We bought this microwave last month. It generally performs satisfactory. However the control panel is very difficult to read. We have to turn up the lighting in our kitchen to the maximum in order to read the control panel. It might be very stylish to be almost solid black but it is extremely impractical.

The LG microwave works fine. The big problem with it is that I cant read the letters on the front menu. The front menu needs to be lit. Im putting in a light in front of the microwave to compensate for that problem but other than that it seems to work fine it has plenty of good features. I like the 30 second and ad feature and its well lit inside. seems to cook the food faster too so other than the lighting on the front. The other small annoying operation is that the front door creeps to the full open setting. It should just stay put where I leave the door open.

I really like this new Microwave I got from LG. it has a child protective lock which can easily be disabled but great to have when the grandkids are here. Also was very impressd at how well it works Ive had to shrten my cook time from other microwaves Ive used because ths cooks so much better and quicker.

I researched and purchased the microwave. Upon trying to use it I was unable to open the door. I called technical support for advice and know one was able to give me advice. I spoke to a supervisor and she was unable to help. I explained that the box said that it was a two-step feature for opening the door. Box did not explain and no one could help me. Thru other means and a lot of time I eventually found that it had a safety lock and wad able to open. Like the microwave disappointed in technical support.

I bought this to replace two other models that were basically the same but stopped working after cooking potatoes for 6-7 minutes. Both units the control panel stopped working Both previous microwaves LG had almost the same features and design. The thing I move most about these particular models is the ease of cleaning due to the rounded inside cabinet. Both the others lasted about 5 years. I hope this one last longer. I like that this one is quieter than the previous two models. I like the addition of the child safety lock for the door and appreciate that I can turn it off even more since I do not have any young children at home.

We purchased our LG Microware thru the manufacturer on a delivery service. The item arrive as promised and was in excellent shape. No damage occurred by the carrier. We have had the unit an LG MSER1590 microwave for several months. It has performed beyond our expectations. It is quite quiet and does an excellent job in heating our food items. It is large enough to cook a turkey but sized to easily fit on a counter under our cupboards. The operation pad lights up very well and selecting numbers and operational programs is easy. We love it

Brians our third LG microwave in a 10 year period. I love the features and the ease of cleaning that the inside cabinet provides but I hope this most recent microwave last longer than the other two we purchased. Both of the other two had the co tell la el stop working ~ 5 years after purchasing them. We dont use the microwave a ton so in my humble option they should last longer than 5 years plus it is not easy to recycle them after they stop working.
