Received this washer as a babyshower gift from my mom. We have owned our machine for 12 years and have enjoyed it. With age it has required a little maintenance but nothing for as old as it is. We clean the condenser every three months and check the lower filter as often. It fits into our hall closet with room to spare.

I do not recommend it you will waste your money. Looks like new outside but it is not working after only 4 years of use. I only use one or two times a week so it is not because of excesive use. Washer bearing worn out needs to be replaced the technician said. The repairs cost almost like a new machine. I was really dissapointed and am not buying Lg anymore.

I purchased a month ago and I love ItIts nice having space for everything without having to stack stuff on top of each other. All the drawers are spacious and convenient. And the door on door is so handy. Its nice being able to get a beverage without having to open the whole thing up and move stuff around. Would definitely recommend any LG product. Ive had an LG washer and microwave and they have always been excellent products so I wont hesitate to outfit my entire kitchen with LG products.

This washer is stackable with the compact ventless dryer. It really cleans the clothes with just one ounce of liquid HE Laundry detergent. I just love the tune it plays to let me know the wash is done. It is so easy to use.

We were replacing our 10 year old machine. Being that we needed a compact washer we were limited by our choices. We are a family of four and the size of this machine is perfect for us. Through my research LG scored the best - had the largest load size and most feature options. The compact washers are more expensive in general in comparison to their larger counter parts that is why my value rating is as it is but overall this washer is vastly superior to our old washer - and of similar price point. I would recommend this washer to anyone it is quiet cleans very well and easy to use. Im very happy with our purchase.

Ive had my washer and dryer set for two and half years now. Its definitely pricey for its size. Theyre a perfect fit for my laundryroom 4.5 x 6.5 x 8.5 so I was elated to have them stacked. I have used all of the wash cycles options and soil levels. I use the Sanitary cycle to wash whites pour liquid bleach in the fabric softener dispenser and it sanitizes the machine at the same time. I swear by the Hand Wash cycle finally No More handwashing I like all the sounds from the chimes/jingles to vibration of the spin cycles. I wish I could upload a pic of my laundryroom it is the cutest. Thanks to LG I truly enjoy doing my laundry now

Excellent washing machine. Has features that appear as overkill initially but become very useful over time. Water heater feature is very useful on front loaders because initial fill may be from colder water still in hot water pipes. Largest capacity of the apartment size washers. I have a small first floor bathroom converted to a laundry room. I love this machine for so many reasons. It is easy to program it takes less detergent than my last machine and the clothes come out so fresh. I think that I would choose this machine for anyone who has limited space. Bought this LG washer as a replacement for a built in under the counter Gallery washer which finally broke down after 15 years. Since all new washers now are 38 tall and my counter was 34.5 LG was one of the only manufacturers that still make a compact unit that would fit. I was seriously impressed with the features of this washer. Also liked the sanitary feature for my pets bed to make sure they are cleaned thoroughly. The spin cycles are so complete at removing water from your clothing that drying is a snap and takes no time at all. I highly recommend this LG washer and if you have need for a smaller unit due to space this is the ticket

Washer is great alas had to use samsung dryer as LG only offers a non-vented small dryer. LG missing out on huge condo/apartment segment by having no product offering in that space. Hope they add a matching vented dryer for this product. FYI no problem using samsung dryer mounting kit on top of this LG washer.

After researching several different units and reading many reviews i decided on this unit. Bought it local and transported it to North Carolina where my son is attending college. Had it hooked up in 15 minutes and proceeded to do 6 loads of backed up laundry and it ran flawlessly My wife was even impressed for the amount of clothes it can hold and all come out clean..LG you now have some customers for life..

When we moved to our condo I knew I would put in a laundry. The condo association had very specific rules so it had to be installed in the shower of the small maids bathroom and had to have a ventless dryer. Therefore my choices were limited.
I chose the LG because it FIT... had the direct drive motor and was paired with the DLEC855W ventless dryer. Also my daughter has a new top load LG washer and has been happy with her choice.
The smaller capacity has not been a problem for me but there are just 2 of us + an occasional visitor. If I have a very large item I take down 12 flights in the elevator of course use the commercial washer in the common laundry.
The machine washes well and resonablly fast. It doesnt dance around or make a lot of noise What more could you want?

Quiet machine holds a king comforter and gets it clean. I have animals and our blankets end up as sand pits and full of hair balls. This cleans well The seal needs wiped out frequently and the glass front needs wiped off. I leave the door open in between use and there has been no odors. A friend said hers stuck.

I love the size of this washer which needed to placed on the 2nd floor of our house. All bedrooms and master bath are upstairs and it was a necessity to create a laundry room upstairs. As empty nesters now I find the size to be perfect for our smaller loads.
I am delighted with the little tunes it plays and find myself wanting to catch the end of the cycle just to hear it
Clothes come out clean. They are not twisted and tied around each other like our old washer would do. If properly balanced it is a very quiet machine. It is a very each machine to operate with every option for every fabric type.

I live in a condo and the 16 year old washer died. Its difficult to find small washers to replce old ones. Th new units are much biger. The small capacity is partially made up for by the exceelent job this washer does.

This was the only product I could find to fit under my existing laundry room countertops. My former machine was wider and therefore had greater capacity. I find myself doing an average of two additional loads per week which eliminates any efficiency savings. There is a lot of spin vibration also.

Love my new LG compact washer and dryer.
Fits perfectly under the counter. Beautiful look very functional. Some vibration on high spin. Takes longer to operate than older models from 10 years ago but more energy efficient. Was concerned about no vent feature but it works wonderfully. Only concern is dryer gives off a lot of heat but should be great in the winter.

love the effeciency and features. I dont understand why there is a water resivoir that needs to be emptied even though the water is pumprd out and then there is the matter of drying the door to prevent a musty smell. This seems like a little too much care taking my daughters front loader doesnt need this nor did my top loader. Otherwise am pleased with results in all settings/cycles like the looks and the compact units dont seem to sacrifce load volume and effeciency. This is my first experience with front loader compact washer.

The machine is very loud when it is being filled with water. Luckily I usually dont wash clothes while family members are sleeping. However this is my only complaint. The washer does a decent job at cleaning dirty clothes. I had already read other comments about the noise so I knew before purchasing.

I love love love this washer. Its very compact and fits nicely under the countertop. Its quiet and very efficient using very little water. The clothes come out extremely clean and fresh I havent noticed an increase in my water bill at all I love the sweet little jingles it plays for its cycles and when its done. I can wash a lot of clothes and it even does several blankets and sheets at one time. Honestly I cant imagine why anyone would want a bigger washer unless youre a family of 3 or more but for 1-2 people its perfect. I wish they werent so expensive and I wish the front soap holder was a more sturdy plastic. Nevertheless Im not hard on my appliances so I dont expect any problems. I also dont understand the review that said it smells. There is a cleaning cycle and it recommends this be done once a month or so depending on how often its used. Ive had ZERO problems or complaints and always look forward to laundry days
