dryer works awesome- dry in half the time as previous dryer. the only problem is not having door swing option when buying. switching door is kinda cumbersome

dryer creates moisture in control panel and under control knob. it has damaged my wall. it was installed on 12/2/2020 and we have jumped through samsungs hoops and they have determined that the dryer is fine. i guess when there is an electrical fire at their negligence than they will care.

the drum belt broke on this dryer that we had then the bottom of the drum split. i have showed many people and they can believe what happened with the drum. i only had this since 2016. i would not recommend this dryer at all.

So glad to get a new washing machine and dryer! I have to admit, my old Maytag duo did a decent job for us for the past 20 years. But it was due time for a new pair. My new Samsung washer and dryer are most certainly an UPGRADE in every sense of the word!
Like the washer, the Samsung dryer has an array of settings for every type of load you can think of, i.e. Heavy Duty, Sanitize, Perm Press, and Quick Dry to name a few. There are a couple of neat features that stand out compared to other brands. The first one is called 'Smart Care". This allows you to connect your appliance to your home network to control and monitor the dryer remotely. And the other is the "Child Lock" feature. This prevents children from playing with the dryer when in use. When this feature is activated, all buttons except for the Power button are disabled.
I can't say enough about my new Samsung Washer and Dryer! They both have a galore of features and they are very pleasing to the eye. After using these appliances for the past three months, I can honestly tell you that not all washer and dryers are made equal, but these two appliances certainly set the bar high!!!

I was so excited to receive this new dryer, I couldn't wait to dry my first load. I literally held on so fhat I'd have the opportunity to purchase a new one at a discounted price. I'm so excited to share my review of this dryer. It comes with top of the line timers so that you can dry your clothes. I like that its not setup like the old dryers and it has several different features that my previous dryer didn't have. I would definitely recommend samsung dryer. I also like the fact that it shows you exactly how many minutes per certain cycle it takes to dry clothes and notify you with a soothing sound when clothes are dry.

perfect washer and dryer set for the new normal life of 2020! we upgraded to samsung 3400 washer and dryer set because our old washer is not working perfectly with our old dryer. for my family of 7, this is well worth of the money. i'm appalled and happy at the same time that we're able to switch the dryer's door positioning instead of swapping the washer and dryer. it's great experience as well to be able to dry the entire load from washer to dryer without the need of splitting the load into two or three. our laundry room is adjacent to my home office and it never bugs me at all as i can barely hear the noise while it's operating. with all jobs moved at home like me and my husband, i highly recommend samsung 3400 series for everyone to use as part of the new normal!

Now let me start of by saying that this is an ELECTRIC dryer, but this unit is just as good if not better than a gas dryer and it looks beautiful. I originally had a gas dryer and switched over to an electric dryer because of a recommendation from a friend and I am glad that I did. This dryer features a very large 7.4 cubic feet drum to get more done. The dryer also features 4 temperature setting ranging from High all the way to Extra Low heat settings and a sensor dry to protect your clothes for heat damage and excess energy usage. The high settings get the clothes nice and dry. I haven't really use the extra low setting yet but im sure that probably works great as well. The dryer's doors are also reversible depending on the placement of your washer and dryer and also has 10 preset setting to take care of your everyday needs. This dryer has been performing well of us and also has helped our family cut down on our gas bill and electric bill. So, I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who is looking to switch from gas to electric.

Wow, forget drycleaning my new samsung washer is better than my old dryer for sure but its quiet and does the best job ever! Clothes come out smelling amazing and keeps them in new condition. I'm loving my new dryer.

This dryer is great for big loads. It has a sensor to know when the clothes are dry so you are not wasting power. It also has a lint alert feature, that is awesome. Another cool feature is there is a code you can scan with your smart phone, so if there is a problem you will be directed on what needs to be done to fix it. Overall, this is a great dryer, just wish it had a light inside.

So, we have finally upgraded our almost 30-year-old washer and dryer and I must say it is a such a big change as this Samsung 3400 Series Washer and Dryer are way fancier than our previous set. The Dryer is impressive on its own with its Sensor Dry Feature which automatically optimizes time and temperature of your drying cycle; ergo, it means worry-free drying that saves energy and protects clothes from heat damage. It has a 7.4 cu. ft. large capacity which equates to less loads and more free time to do other things. There is a variety of preset drying cycles to choose from which can cater to almost every drying need you have. The Damp Alert indicator for mixed fabrics is an amazing feature. It blinks when the average dryness of items inside is 80% dry. This lets you take items that you don't want fully dry or that dry quickly while letting others continue to dry. I clean the lint filter after every use but to those who does not, you may now stop worrying about lint accumulating and blocking your dryer's air vent. Lint filter indicator lights up to remind you when it is time to clean up the filter. One last thing, if an error code suddenly pops up on your dryer and washer- there is the Smart Care app link to your appliance to help you decipher problem and helps you troubleshoot. Have not used it yet, hopefully never, but I think it's a cool, handy feature to have. Overall, this is a modern, reliable, solid performer that delivers excellent results.

My clothes comes out softer compared to our previous dryer. Also, it is able to dry our clothes quicker, and the auto sensor function doesn't overdry and shrink my clothes like our previous dryer did. I also noticed that the force of the exhaust is much better, and was able to dislodge a lot of the lint left in the exhaust pipe by our previous dryer. The only gripe I had was the alignment of the exhaust. If the placement could be adjusted, I'd be able to push the dryer closer to the wall and get an additional 3-4 inches of clearance for the dryer door. I know this'll be difficult, as it is particular to my install. Also, I haven't seen other dryers with this option.

This dryer is HUGE and has so many features to help dry all kinds of clothing, bedding, etc. at its appropriate temperature. With timed features, you can dry for as little or as long as you'd like. We placed this machine off our kitchen and it's super quiet. We sometimes forget it's even drying. The machine is so smart that it determines the drying time for your load by its dampness. Brilliant! The drum holds a large king comforter which saves on the dry cleaning bills! I highly recommend this dryer as Samsung never disappoints!

I love this dryer. My first new dryer ever as i've always inherited the old one from wherever I've lived. Delivery was smooth and on-time. I have a laundry closet so it is a tight squeeze. The dryer vent is a bit too big so now the machine sticks out a bit more than I'd like, but hubby says he will shorten it some if it gets too annoying. So far not too much of an issue.
The Samsung dryer works amazingly well and is so efficient! It only takes 42 minutes to dry a load of laundry! My previous machine took at least an hour on sensor setting, which it also tended to overdry, thus shrinking some items. I like that it tells you how much time is left. It has all the settings I need (normal, heavy duty, bedding, delicate and more!) and if a setting doesn't work, you can always adjust the temperature, time, moisture to what you need. There is also a connected option which allows you to control the settings from your phone. I haven't tried that out yet, but am excited to try. I am super impressed with how it performs. My clothes and towels feel softer (I don't know how!). Plus there seems to be more space than in my prior dryer as well yet it takes only a little more space (vertically). This is an awesome machine which I'd highly recommend.

when the dryer was first delivered i opened it up and couldn't believe how big it was inside! it is large enough to git my king size comforter. the dryer is very simple to work, you just select your setting by turning the knob and my favorite feature is the wrinkle prevent chime, this was it notifies me before my dryer shuts off so that my clothes will not sit in the dryer and wrinkle! i also am very impressed with the wet sensor and how it will quit drying your clothes early if they are finished, this way you are not over drying your clothes!

Love this new dryer and it's capacity. No problem throwing the quilt in or large loads. The reversible door worked out great, since my washer was on the right. The dryer works really well and tends to dry my clothes more quickly the my prior one. The sensor dry feature works magic when laundry doesn't have my full attention. The unit is very nice and well made!

Wow this dryer makes it easy!! With my last dryer I constantly had to rerun my dryer beause the clothes were still damp even when I set the longest cycle. With the Sensor Dry feature in my new Samsung dryer, I never have to re-run a program, as soon as I open it up the clothes are dry, wrinkle free and ready to wear! The interface is very easy to use and makes it a breeze to switch between programs. The washer and dryer look very nice side by side and the clothes come out perfectly clean every time. Also the large capacity for the dryer helps us just wash everything in one load rather then the two loads we had to do with our old dryer. It is actually so big I feel like I need to wash even more clothes to fill it up! It is truly one of our best appliance investments, I highly recommend purchasing the set.

With 3 teenage boys in my house, I am doing laundry 4 times a week! As my 20 year old dryer finally gave out, I knew I would purchase a Samsung dryer as we love our household Samsung products! This dryer has various features which allow for timed drying, fabric selection and what feels like alot of selections based on your fabric preferences. I love the steam setting which gives my wrinkled clothes a quick refresh. What surprised me most is the size of the dryer --- it hold 2+ full loads of laundry as compared to my former dryer! Less work for me! There are plenty of presets so that you can set it and forget it. There are so many wonderful feature settings that you can personalize each drying cycle to fit your needs - bedding, cottons, air dry, etc. I really like the Sensor Dry cycle, which automatically turns off as soon as your clothes are dry and protects your clothes from over drying. If you're looking for a workhorse dryer, the Samsung DVE45T3400W is the dryer for you!

When the dryer was first delivered I opened it up and couldn't believe how big it was inside! I have still yet to fill this all the way up and it is large enough to put my king sized comforter it. The dryer is very simple to work, you just select your setting by turning the knob and you can add extra features with the buttons listed. My favorite feature is the wrinkle prevent chime, this was it notifies me before my dryer shuts off so that my clothes will not sit in the dryer and wrinkle! I also am very impressed with the wet sensor and how it will quit drying your clothes early if they are finished, this way you are not over drying your clothes! The lint try is very easy to empty and it really takes a lot of loads to start filling it up, which I was really surprised by! I have shower so many of my friends and family when they come over and they alway say, "That dryer is huge inside, I need one of those!" I am very proud of my new dry and know it will last me for years to come.

I'm appalled and happy at the same time that we're able to switch the dryer's door positioning instead of swapping the washer and dryer. It's great experience as well to be able to dry the entire load from washer to dryer without the need of splitting the load into two or three. Quick tips for those eyeing this dryer. Do read the instructions prior use to maximize the features of having one and let me itemize its features that aren't available on other dryers.
1. Sensor Dry – senses the internal humidity to determine drying time
2. Filter Check – filter is located inside and close to the door opening
3. Child Lock – easy to activate/deactivate by pressing and holding "Dryness" and "Temp" for 3 seconds
4. Damp Alert – gives me a heads up when my some of the clothes can be taken out of the dryer while letting others continue to dry
5. Alarm – easy to turn on/off by pressing and holding "Wrinkle Prevent" for 3 seconds
Our laundry room is adjacent to my home office and it never bugs me at all as I can barely hear the noise while it's operating. With all jobs moved at home like me and my husband, I highly recommend SAMSUNG 3400 series for everyone to use as part of the new normal!

So I can say that I love this Dryer. It hits all the great points.
1. It is quiet, this is great because the laundry room in next to my kids rooms and it does not wake them up.
2. it has a sanitize function - in the days of covid, the more sanitize the better.
3. it does a very even dry - even with different weight blankets, they are all evenly dried. The sensor dry function is very precise and gets the job done.
Overall the Family Loves this Dryer.
